CoQ10 and omega-3 show prostate benefits

  • 01/02/2013

According to a study published in the British Journal of Nutrition, supplementation with omega-3 and CoQ10 independently reduce levels of prostate specific antigen (PSA) in healthy men by 30% and 33%, respectively.

Furthermore, supplements that provide the gamma linolenic fatty acid omega-6 (GLA) are associated with a 15% increase in PSA levels.

PSA is a marker commonly used to evaluate prostate cancer and track its progress.
